Welcome to my blog! If you love fashion and beauty as much as I do then you’ve come to the right site. As my first post I want to introduce you to my goals and aspirations for this page. I want to create content that viewers will want to see, share, and like so your feedback is my number one interest. I want us to grow together in style and beauty, and I want my blog to shine. Don’t be shy to give me your personal take on a certain topic. So what can you expect from this blog, and me and how will it be different? To give you a little bit of background on myself, I was born in San Francisco California, moved to Miami, Florida when I was about five years old, and now I currently live in New York. I guess this classifies me as a bit of a multi-coast traveler. Just as fashion is unique to the individuals I have realized it is also unique to each region, and of course to every big-name fashion house. The cool and amazing thing about fashion is that you can take elements from all these inspirational places and mold it to your own personal style. Fashion is a bit of trial and error too, just because something is trendy doesn’t mean it will be right for you. Some silhouettes look amazing on some and others not so much. Don’t let little things like this discourage you. Remember that you can also be creative and start your own trends. Hopefully together we will be able to create some. Unlike a lot of other beauty and fashion blogs out there I also want to give you some history. Its one thing to see fashion on the runways, but quite another to actually understand where and how that fashion was born, so expect to read about the richness of some of the biggest names in fashion. Another fact about me is that I am of Hispanic heritage, which means I am bilingual and I even studied French in school, so I want to use this skill to teach you words outside of the English language, but that relate to things we love in beauty and fashion. So, here we go, lesson number one! The word for Fashion in Spanish is “moda” Send me messages in my contact page with your comments and any topics you would like to see discussed on my blog.
