Spring is here and with it whole new ideas on how to spruce up the old wardrobe. Exchange wool textiles and cozy sweaters for light, cotton fabrics and colorful prints. Here is my Spring wardrobe wishlist. I will go down the line of wardrobe categories and link examples of this year’s hottest trends in fashion for the season. I will link as many products as possible to help you navigate and select the unique and stylish pieces you think will be worth adding to your collection.
Lets start with accessories first, which are my favorite…
HANDBAGS

I am not much of a luxury high-end Designer Handbag collector, but this year I think I want to splurge on a bag that not only is very Spring-in and extremely versatile, but also not too bulky and very moldable for any occasion. I am talking about the Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 Bandouliere. This bag ticks all the check boxes for me in terms of style, versatility, and comfort. It’s big enough to hold all your essentials, but small enough to take with you anywhere you go. Yes it has a pricy purchase tag, but when a product is good, will last you a very long time, and can be used almost everyday, it is good to consider the investment. Remember you can always get a look for less also, which is why I will include variations with lower price tags. Check out Forever21 and Zara for incredible, more affordable alternatives.
SHOES

Not to sound like a broken record, but once again, if I am being honest I am also not much of a shoe collector of high-end designer wear. These last few years though designers like Dior and Chanel have truly been stealing my heart in terms of gorgeous designer footwear. On my list are the Spring 2016 Chanel espadrilles. Espadrilles are a huge fashion trend at the moment and if I may be so bold as to say, I really think Chanel started it with their all black leather CC espadrilles that sold out in nearly days. Don’t fear if you had your heart set on those though, here are the shoes that made my wish list this year, as well as some more affordable options. My pick for more affordable options is definitely Zara. They are stepping up their designer inspired looks when it comes to shoes. Tory Burch also sells espadrilles with that classic Chanel look, and also bare a more moderate price tag.
TOPS

I love to keep tops at each end of the spectrum either very detailed or very basic. White basic tees are a girl’s best friend in the Spring; you can pair them with just about everything. White tees are especially versatile for all times of day and occasions. Prints in the Spring are also a must. When it comes to fabric and textures you want light, airy textiles for the upcoming warm weather. A fashion trend that is picking up steam this season are crops and off-the-shoulder tops.
BOTTOMS

Spring is the best time to bring out your prettiest skirts and shorts. I am obsessed with patterned bottoms, but the star of this season seems to be denim, in terms of textiles for the Spring. More and more I am seeing denim skirts, shorts, and jeans pop up on everyone’s sites. A throwback tribute to the 60s with these high wasted denim skirts and even patterned skirts. I am loving this one from Zara. Forever21 is also popping out with more affordable versions of their own.
