Outfit of the Day

Like I have stated in previous posts, Spring to me screams vibrant colors, pastels and even some neon colors. I like to stand out in Spring similarly to how the Cherry Blossoms bloom in Washington. I wanted to post this look as an inspiration for the outfit you will be picking to celebrate your Easter this weekend. Send me a message and let me know what pieces you are coveting this season. My plans for Sunday will be simple, Chruch service in the morning and then an all out afternoon bash with my wonderful bf's family. Ever since I moved out here to NY they have been like my surrogate family and I adore them so much. Sadly my own family is out vacationing in Nicaragua and will be celebrating my dad’s birthday this Saturday. By the way Happy Birthday dad!

Ok now on to the details of my outfit, which is why we are here. I am dressed head-to-toe in Forever21. What can I say I love a great bargain. I will link similar pieces in the text if you are interested. I am wearing a fitted blue and green-stripped tub dress, paired with vibrant neon coral and hot pink trimmed blazer. The light fabrics are perfect for comfort and all weather types. Basic flowing dresses and tight dresses can be dressed up or down depending on the accessories. Since I am going to church I paired mine with this more formal blazer to give it a less casual feel. You could also pair this look with a jean jacket and sneakers for a casual and more comfortable look. Dresses can be extremely versatile and an essential piece in anyone’s Spring wardrobe.
