I just realized my title sounds like the intro to a rhonchi, salacious movie, shhh don’t tell anyone. Anyways, by now most of you have probably heard of the absolutely insane weather we are having in New York these past few weeks. Snow, rain, cold below 35-degree weather you name it, it’s been here. I am thinking we’ll be swept away by a hurricane at any minute now. Anyways back to the real reason why we are all here, fashion! Just because the weather is uncooperative doesn’t mean we have to live in our sweats and PJs, although this look could be stylish if you gave it some unique touches. Moving on! For this look I had to break out my comfy, yet very iconic looking UGGs. I feel Like UGG has been making a huge fashion comeback in the recent seasons as the Jenner sisters were seen sporting the new slim collection boots. Despite who is and who isn’t wearing these, they seem to have a hit or miss appeal with general audiences. Celebrities are all the rage about these fashion icons, non-the-less. I think anyone could wear UGGs; it’s all about how you chose to style them and what color scheme you use to pair them with. This will be my second look sporting UGGs, click here to see other UGG inspired looks.

For my look I wanted to go comfortable, yet chic, and I am sorry if I use that word combo a lot, it just is what describes my style the best. I am all about comfortable looks with hints of stylish embellishments and chic classic lines. For this look I went with a mid length tunic/shirt dress with a belt detail and faux leather leggings. I feel the versatility you get with a shirtdresses is bountiful. Definitely a wardrobe must have piece. I promise you it will go with just about anything and it’s a great seasonal transition piece.

The combination of soft plaid lines with the edge rocker chic silhouette of the leggings give the overall outfit a nice contrast. Topped it with the cozy look of the UGG boots in chestnut color to match perfectly with the thin waist belt. The belt is an accessory so you can always forgo it and make look seem more relaxed and less structured to your body. I lie to outline my waist so I used the belt, but it’s not essential to pull of this look. Since the day was gloomy and cold I worse a jacket as well, but I forgot to take a picture of it on, sorry! I hope you guys enjoy this look. Always remember to pair comfortable elements with edgy pieces to give a balanced look. Let me know what you thought of the look. Till next time thanks for clicking my beauties! Love you guys!
