Happy Friday everyone you all made it through the week with me, thank you so much for following and for sticking with me as I take you through a week of music festival inspired fashion and makeup looks. Today is the first day of Coachella and I hope you all have a safe and wonderful weekend. Here is my last look inspiration of the week. Keep in mind some of the hottest and greatest trends for this festival season when trying to pick out what to wear or if you are still scrounging about trying to figure it out or how to style your hair and makeup. Stay true to your style! If you like comfortable pieces choose something you know you will be able to sweat in all day and not feel gross. I think dresses make the perfect comfortable and breathable pieces for being out all day in the sun. Click here to check out my featured Coachella sundress piece! Here is a tip; you can also wear a bathing suit underneath your outfit so you can shed some clothes if you get way too hot. Bathing suits can be stylish and appropriate wear for music festivals. Be sure to also remember to wear a lot of sun block so you can protect that lovely skin. Don’t forget to accessorize with some essential pieces too, like a great pair of stylish sunnies, and some statement piece jewelry. If you didn’t catch my accessories post click here. Chokers and floral necklaces seem to be the high trend of this year’s music fest season.

As for fashion trends we have seen a lot of florals and some tassels/fringe pieces and don’t forget comfortable shoes. Sandals, flats or even sneakers are the right fit for this occasion. For my last inspired look I paired a fun, floral, yet comfortable and casual romper with some trendy sneakers. Rompers are very much IN this Spring season and music festivals are the best time to showcase your favorite romper. I chose one of light cotton fabric with a very Flower child inspired print. I paired it with these white converse, as they are a classic comfortable shoe. I finished the look with a nice sleek, laid back casual jean jacket. You can forgo the jacket, but I like to have something to cover up with in case the sun gets way too intense or the weather changes and it gets too cool. It’s always safe to have some sort of cover-up after the sun falls and the chill sets in.

Finally some last tips to stay cool at Coachella. A refillable water bottle is a must, maybe a little spray bottle so you can mist yourself occasionally, as you get hot throughout the day. Be sure to stay hydrated in-between the alcohol consumption, wink wink. Also don’t forget the sunscreen, it’s very important, apply every two hours for maximum protection. My favorite is sun bum. Not only will you be protected, but you’ll smell delicious as well. Lastly, wear comfy shoes. You’ll be up on your feet all day and you don’t want to get blisters all over. Last tip, enjoy the show! This event comes but once a year, so live it up!
Some makeup tips for you as well would be, make sure to wear a solid foundation. By this I mean something that will be water resistant and combat sweating. I personally love high coverage, for-oily-skin foundations, because they will last the longest. You can also wear a good primer underneath to secure your foundation even longer. You can go with high color looks or neutral, simple looks, the choice is yours. Remember to use waterproof mascara so you don’t have raccoon eyes by the end of the night, and waterproof eyeliners.
