Monday Must-Haves: Spring Edition

I want to begin by giving you all a warm and loving thank you, for all your support! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and fun in the sun at Coachella. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your guy’s fashion and makeup looks for this event. If you didn’t get a chance to visit my blog earlier, check out the looks that inspired me here! That being said I am happy to see everyone loved some of my inspirational looks as well and you too decided to go with a cool dress to sport over the weekend festivities. Now it’s a new week and time to look forward to what’s coming up next.

On a happy note, we finally seem to be getting lovely warm weather here in New York, so I am excited to start doing some more warm weather activities and blog posts, like going to the beach, running outside and going on some nature hikes. If you are from the New York area and have never done a nature walk you have to, it’s incredible!

I want to begin a new series this week that will be featured on Mondays on my blog. This series will encompass must-have fashion and beauty items that are essential in your wardrobe and beauty kits for the season. Since now we are officially into spring, this week’s Monday Must-Have has to be a fashion item I find myself using more and more as the season progresses. This will be my second fashion post featuring this item and so I know you guys are aware of how much I love this item. I am talking about shoes ladies and gentlemen! A pair of shoes I think are a definite must-have this Spring season.

The shoes I want to bring to your attention are these versatile, comfortable, and super trendy white, Chuck Taylor All Star Classics by Converse! I also want to point out that not only are white sneakers really trendy right now, these converse are very affordable shoes as well. They retail for about $50 on the Converse website.

For my fashion look today, I paired these essential wardrobe must-have shoes with a pastel pink coat and white casual, simple, boyfriend T-shirt. Wanted the look to stay somewhat neutral with some pop of color on the scarf and coat, so I paired the white top with these grey mid-wash jeans. A very casual look, but still put together with these accenting colorful accessories. The pastel pink coat is perfect to strut during the Spring, when you have those cooler days that aren’t too sunny and warm just yet. I remind you guys that I am a sun bum from Florida so even 50-60 degree weather for me is chilly.

I love tying in colorful accents with accessories so I finished the look off with this Christian Dior Handbag with a beautiful embroidered butterfly prink. I got this bag ages ago so I will have to look for a similar style to link. This handbag was actually one of my very first luxury pieces. I got it as a gift to my self for graduating college. It was also much more affordable back then to buy high-end luxury items. Here is a tip if you have your eye set on a luxury piece, get it now! The prices of luxury items sky rocket every-so-often within a year so you don’t want to have to spend 200-300 dollars more when you can get the item at a more affordable price range.

I hope you guys enjoy this look! I was off to the movies with my wonderful and lovely boyfriend on this occasion. The weather was cloudy and somewhat chilly so I wore a coat, but keep in mind you can forgo the scarf and coat and just wear a casual T-shirt with jeans and pair it with this great shoe. I am truly enjoying styling my converse with different looks to emphasize just how versatile they can be.
